'Wetin concern u for men matter, lack home training' - Attacks as AY's wife speaks on feud between husband, Basketmouth

Mabel Makun, the wife of popular comedian Ayo Makun better known as AY has reacted to the long-running feud between her husband and his colleague Bright Okpocha also known as Basketmouth on social media.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, AY claimed that the long-running dispute was as a result of a failed business transaction.

AY revealed that trouble allegedly began when Basketmouth asked him to perform at a show on his behalf and he refused to send the agreed-upon N30,000 money.

AY claimed he contacted the organizer, who confirmed he had paid in advance of the show and then shared the feedback with Basketmouth, which later led to an argument.

The comedian acknowledged that he approached Basketmouth incorrectly when trying to get his money back, but he made no attempt to confront him.

However, Basketmouth claimed he and AY have never been close friends or had any other type of relationship while speaking on "the honest bunch podcast" with media personality Nedu Wazobia.

The comedian said that AY was spreading false information about their dispute to promote his forthcoming show, saying that this was typical of him.

He claims that the revelations made by AY during his recent interview with Chude are 90% falsehoods.

Ay's wife, Mabel Makun posted a personal observation on her Instagram page a few hours after the interview went viral on social media.

She wrote: “I have come to realize that some people pass information in an aggressive manner because they know no other way. Everyone can’t be soft-spoken. Understand this and know peace.”

Mabel's cryptic post generated ixed reactions from social media users.

Some urged her to stay away from the dispute between the two comedians as it was a man to man affair while others compared them.
