Gospel singer and convener of the popular Hallelujah Challenge, Nathaniel Bassey, has responded to critics questioning his decision not to monetize his social media platforms despite their massive reach.

Recently, a man went viral after conducting a detailed analysis of how much revenue the singer could be missing out on by not activating ads or monetization, especially considering the millions who tune in during the Hallelujah Challenge.

However, during the 23rd day of this year’s edition, Nathaniel Bassey addressed the issue directly. He revealed that while he had faced intense criticism for his stance, his choice was guided purely by divine instruction.

The Imela crooner further warned followers to be cautious of fake pages and YouTube channels that are cashing in on the Hallelujah Challenge by using his name and content.

He clarified that his only verified YouTube page bears the name ‘Nathaniel Bassey Main’, urging fans to avoid imitators.

Bassey also reflected on the countless testimonies that have emerged from the Hallelujah Challenge, describing them as proof of God’s power at work through the movement.

He recently shared a touching video showing the land he purchased for the Hallelujah Challenge House, testifying that God helped him complete the building in just eight months.
