Umenwa Ekene shares how she fasted 9 days to pick Chinenye Nnebe as her bridesmaid

Nollywood actress Umenwa Ekene has generated further sensation on social media by sharing her bridesmaid selection process.

Recall that Umenwa garnered media attention for her response to gospel artiste Moses Bliss attending her wedding in Benin City, Edo state.

In a recent Instagram post, the actress disclosed that she chose actress Chinenye Nnebe as her primary bridesmaid after nine days of fasting and prayer.

Umenwa disclosed on social media that her maker chose Chinenye because she deserved the best.

The recently married bride was likewise full of praise for her colleague and her outstanding works.

A portion of Umenwa's post reads: “Choosing a maid of honour was something I tried doing on my own but it didn’t work because it was never God’s will, then I went into 9 days Novena prayers and fasting (because I wanted the best) and Jesus told me, stand still, let me select the best for you."
