US resident gives Chef Dammy N1m for her 120-hour cook-a-thon, gives reason

Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, is set to receive an amount of N1 million from a US citizen.

Influencer Maria Ude Nwachi revealed Dammy’s money pledge, and claimed it came from her client.

Maria further added a mail to confirm the monetary award.

The customer said in the attached screenshot that the N1 million was to “support for Damilola’s outstanding attempt at setting a record in the Guinness Book of Records for longest cooking hours by an individual.”

In the comment section, Maria addressed the fears of netizens about Dammy’s pastor taking all the money away from her.

She wrote: “For those worried about the money being hijacked by her pastor… “I will speak with Chef Dammy before I release the money to her. It will be sent directly to her account…”

On Wednesday, June 14, Chef Dammy finished her cook-a-thon after 120 hours of cooking.
