Former Nollywood actor and filmmaker Seun Egbegbe has finally come out to speak about his six years in prison.
He talked to Biola Bayo about his experiences in jail and how he overcame that trying period.
In the interview, Egbegbe stated that he was only imprisoned for one offence because the other forty-four counts against him were successfully defended by his attorney.
Seun Egbegbe declared that he wouldn't want anyone to experience prison life, calling it a terrible experience. Additionally, Seun Egbegbe pledged to support prisoners by travelling to jails across the nation.
Seun Egbegbe revealed that he nearly died of depression a few weeks after going to prison.
Amid this difficult moment, he vowed to God that he would turn from his ways and devote his life to serving others if he were to survive his 11-year sentence.
According to Egbegbe, incarceration is a tremendous equalizer. He said that while inside, he got to know well-known Lagos-Dubai socialite Mompha and former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.
The former film producer shared a lot of information with Biola Bayo.
