'Too much jealousy, envy among Igbos' - Yul Edochie tackles his fellow tribal men

Controversial Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has slammed his fellow Igbo tribal men.

Taking to his Instagram page, the filmmaker stated that there is too much jealousy and hate among Igbo men.

The biggest critic of an Igbo who is prospering in life, in Yul's opinion, is another Igbo. He continued by saying that, in other cases, people's own relatives who pose as their own family can serve as their worst foes.

The father of five advised Igbos to improve by looking out for one another and to put an end to their feelings of jealousy and envy.

Yul continued by saying that when Igbos confront issues collectively, they are excellent and will be able to change things.

He wrote: "Too much jealousy and envy smongst Igbos. Why?? If you're doing well as an Igbo person, your biggest hater is your fellow Igbo person. Sometimes even your family member. Why? Igbos we need to do better. We're great. Stop the envy. Stop the competition. Things change when we address them. YUL EDOCHIE."

Many took to the actor's comment section to lambast him for making such remarks.
