'Tinubu supporters should not complain' - Femi Adebayo bemoans scarcity of Naira notes

Renowned Npllywood actor Femi Adebayo Salami has recently made headlines after joining other people in lamenting the lack of naira notes.

The naira appeared to become extremely rare once a deadline was set for exchanging old notes for new ones, with some going to great lengths just to obtain them.

The thespian joined in the conversation and shared his own experience on social media.

Femi displayed some N1000 notes while explaining that he had to go through a lot to obtain them.

He asserted that the limited naira has made it difficult to purchase basic items like fruits and vegetables. He continued by saying that he wasn't opposed to a cashless world but that they should at least allow the circulation of naira notes.

The Nigerian currency, he said, is now gold. Femi continued by saying that although it had been difficult for him to get a few new notes, he was still prepared to share with some of his fans since he believed they also needed it.

He wrote: “ONLY if you know what I went through….Is there anyone going through same? Nevertheless, pin your location, who knows? GOD BLESS NIGERIA!”
