'The hair vendor brought police to arrest me' – Phyna gives update on rented wig

The Nigeria Police invited Big Brother Naija winner Phyna after hearing that she couldn't return a wig she had rented after its rental time had passed.

Recall that Phyna was recently reprimanded by a hair dealer for supposedly refusing to return a wig that was "rented" after the agreed-upon time frame had passed.

Even though Phyna had earlier denied the accusations, a recent video that she posted on social media showed that she had indeed hired the wig.

Though she claimed to have returned it after being called out, the hair merchant had rejected it.

She chose to keep the wig since, according to her, the damage the hair dealer caused her was greater than the cost.

Phyna went on to add that when the hair dealer realized she wasn't there, he called a number of police officers to her house and left a note.

She said, “Yesterday, my younger sister called me and said I’ve visitors in my house. I asked who they were and she said two policemen, the hairstylist, and one woman. I asked who the woman was but she said she didn’t know the woman.

“And they dropped a letter. Because it’s from the police I want to know what to do. It reads, ‘This is the Nigeria Police. Invitation to the police.’ They now put my name, and my address. Then it continued, ‘From the DPO Nigeria Police Ogudu.’ I don’t know where Ogudu is, but I will find out.”
