'Sycophants everywhere' - Mixed reactions as Wike cooks for Gbajabiamila, others

The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has sparked conversations on social media after a video of him cooking for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and Senator Olaka Nwogu emerged.

As they enjoyed the public holiday together, Nyesom Wike could be seen serving food to Femi Gbajabiamila and Senator Olaka Nwogu in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Femi Gbajabiamila's close examination of the meal Wike was serving out in the bowl was one of several things that drew the attention of online viewers.

Social media users posted several comments in response to the video. While some praised Wike for his modesty and consideration, others chastised them for "flaunting" food while some Nigerians are on the streets hustling and in need.
