Entrepreneur Simon Guobadia has voiced deep regret over his marriage to Real Housewives of Atlanta personality Porsha Williams, asserting that her intentions were driven by his wealth.

Speaking to Page Six, Guobadia claimed Williams deliberately pursued him for his financial status and failed to address any marital concerns before abruptly filing for divorce. “It was like a calculated strike,” he remarked, noting he was completely caught off guard.

Guobadia shared that his efforts to communicate with Williams and her inner circle were met with silence, leading him to liken their marriage to a poor business venture: “This was a $5 million rehab project that I took on.”

The couple’s 14-month union ended in February 2024 when Williams initiated divorce proceedings, citing issues related to Guobadia’s financial and immigration status.

However, Guobadia maintains that Williams never directly discussed any problems with him. “If you’re married, you discuss issues,” he said. “That never happened.”
