Shallipopi furious after being stopped by policemen for search; netizens react

In a widely shared video, fast-rising artist Crown Uzama better known as Shallipopi expressed anger at a confrontation with individuals he thought were police officers.

Shallipopi, who just celebrated one year as a musician and label owner, was spotted yelling angrily and expressing his displeasure at the way he was handled.

According to the accounts, the singer became enraged when the cops stopped him.

Speaking in pidgin English, Shallipopi claimed in the video that he was stopped by the roadside despite having 100 police officers watching him every day.

He said: "One Hundred and something Police men Dey Guard me every day."

Shallipopi was criticized on social media for being irrationally upset when all he could have done was show the police the decency they deserve and let them search him as part of their duty.
