After sobbing over Trump's ICE raids, well-known American singer and actress Selena Gomez responded to a request for her deportation.
On Sunday, January 26, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other agencies conducted raids across the country.
ICE said more than 1,100 illegal aliens were arrested nationwide on Monday, January 27.
In a since-deleted video posted to her Instagram page, Selena Gomez expressed her sympathy for those impacted.
The 32-year-old Mexican-American remarked, "I'm so sorry," as she sobbed over the deportation of Mexicans. Every one of my folks is being attacked. I don't comprehend the kids. I wish there was something I could do. I swear, I'll try everything.
Sam Parker, a former US senatorial candidate, responded by demanding the singer's deportation.
The troll wrote, “Deport Selena Gomez. She picked illegals over America because she’s the 3rd gen descendent of Mexican illegals who received citizenship in the ’87 Amnesty.
She has entitlement attitude toward America, like her illegal parents. Maybe Selena should be deported, too?”
Reacting to her deportation call, the Grammy-winning singer in a post on her Instagram story wrote, “Oh Mr Parker, Mr Parker. Thanks for the laugh and the threat.”
