'Rema listens to most of my songs before release' - Ayra Starr discloses

Top Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr, has talked about her relationship with colleague artiste and label mate, Rema.

According to the ‘Rush’ hitmaker, Rema is more than just a colleague but also a friend she can rely on.

She stated Rema inspired her from afar, even before eventually meeting and working with him under Mavins Record.

She said: “I play him almost all the sings before I release them.

"I looked up to Rema even before I joined Mavin, he is a very good friend and an amazing artist. I’m very inspired by him.”

The duo have been spotted together so many times that in early 2023, there were speculations that they may be having a romantic affair.

However, Ayra in an exclusive interview with Kenyan-based station, Kiss FM revealed that she only considers Rema as a brother.

"That's my brother in Christ," the singer stated emphatically.
