The claims referenced a medical report purportedly issued by Serenity Royale Hospital, indicating that the mother of two had tested positive for various psychoactive substances, including certain drugs, opiates, and alcohol.

The document, allegedly signed by the hospital’s Managing Director, Dr. Adekunle Adesina, also outlined a detoxification program that Daniels supposedly completed between September 9 and October 15, 2025.

Shortly after the report gained traction online, Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja released an official statement, which Regina Daniels later shared. The hospital clarified that while they were aware of the circulating report, it did not come from their facility. They urged the public to disregard the false information and reaffirmed their commitment to patient confidentiality.

In response, Daniels expressed her gratitude to the hospital, describing the staff as family. She revealed that seeing the report initially left her overwhelmed and considering legal action. However, she commended the hospital management for handling the situation with professionalism and integrity. She offered praise and prayers, emphasizing her appreciation for their adherence to high standards.

The allegations of substance abuse have continued to spark public debate, with Ned Nwoko’s other wife, Laila Charani, also becoming involved. Charani accused Daniels of introducing her to substances and has participated in a series of social media posts criticizing the actress.

Additionally, a woman recently shared a video addressing Daniels directly. She claimed that after her uncle assisted the actress during a difficult period, Daniels had failed to repay the debt. The woman explained the amount that had been paid and what remained outstanding, noting that her uncle had helped Daniels following her viral emotional video.
