Reason for Davido, Cubana friendship breakup revealed

The unfollowing of each other on Instagram by Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, and his best friend Cubana chiefPriest is no longer news.

Cubana ChiefPriest and Davido frequently refer to one another as best friends, thus it is surprising to note that the latter did not advertise the singer's Lagos show on his Instagram page.

The Lagos Socialite also'shunned' Davido's concert on Sunday night, April 23, by posting videos of himself at a different party on his Instagram story while the 'Timeless' concert was still going on.

Davido also neglected to post anything on his Instagram story or social media accounts to honor Cubana Chief Priest on his birthday earlier this month.

Media personality Stella Dimoko Korkus has revealed that the superstar and the celebrity barman are currently at odds over allegations of disrespect and a statement made about the late Ifeanyi Adeleke.

She claimed that Chioma and Davido sobbed inconsolably after Cubana ChiefPriest made a very irresponsible and offensive statement about Ifeanyi's death.

The insider did not want the couple to cry any more and added that ChiefPriest's statement was too hurtful to be made public.

According to Stella, Chioma was there when the statement was made, who also reprimanded the Cubana Chiefpriest for his remarks.

She said: “Please note that I cannot repeat what was said because it is too sensitive and i don’t want them to cry more.”
