Popular Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has expressed her appreciation for the favours God has shown her.

The Mavin Record singer recalled a period in the past when she was assisting her grandma in selling veggies on her Instagram page.

Ayra recalled how she used to sing to onlookers while sitting outdoors, and how many people are eager to pay to see her play now that she is a well-known singer.

She wrote: “Will forever be grateful for where I am in my life, God really blessed me

"6 years ago this used to be me selling 3 vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing to whoever wanted to hear me. Now I people are paying to watch me perform”
