Peller is safe and in good health - Management clarifies

The management of popular TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has reacted to the controversy surrounding his recent accident.

In a statement released on Wednesday, December 17, management confirmed that Peller is in good health and safe, despite rumours circulating about the incident.

The statement urged the public to disregard reports suggesting that the content creator was seriously injured and called on individuals engaging in cyberbullying to desist.

Recall that Peller was hospitalised following an incident in which he crashed his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz during an emotional livestream.

The incident occurred on Sunday along the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos during an Instagram Live session.

In the widely circulated video, Peller appeared visibly distressed while driving alone.

During the livestream, he was seen crying and agitated as he made several troubling remarks.

He repeatedly expressed fears of being publicly mocked if his relationship ended and, at one point, suggested he might harm himself without endangering others.

“I will use this car and have an accident right now,” he said during the livestream, later adding, “I’m scared. I’m scared. If you break up with me, people will be mocking me. They will be mocking me… Thank you. I’m going to kill myself.”
