Popular Nigerian pastor, Jerry Eze, has shared a lighthearted story from his teenage years, reflecting on his first attempt at expressing affection to a girl.

The founder of New Season Prophetic Prayers (NSPPD) recounted the experience during a recent sermon, recalling how it happened while he was in senior secondary school.

According to him, the encounter took place during a school essay competition, where he decided to write a heartfelt letter to the girl he admired, even lacing his words with biblical references to convey his emotions.

Unfortunately, the effort didn’t go as he had hoped. The girl politely turned him down, telling him she “didn’t have time for such things.”
