A throwback video of Nigerian music star Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, aka D’banj, showing off his MTVBase award in Winners Chapel for a thanksgiving celebration has resurfaced online.

In the now-viral clip, the Oliver Twist crooner was seen on the podium of the church’s headquarters in Ota, Canaanland.

D’banj appreciated God for winning an MTVBase award in 2007 after receiving a word of knowledge from Bishop Oyedepo.

He further dedicated the plaque to the renowned clergyman, igniting a roar of cheers from the congregation.

He also thanked God for being appointed as the United Nations' Nigeria’s youth ambassador.
