Osimhen: Put some respect on his name - Timaya, others knock Napoli

Nigerian singer Timaya and popular comedian and content producer, Pastor Remote have joined other Nigerians in criticizing Italian Serie A champions Napoli on social media for mocking Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on their TikTok account.

Osimhen's missed penalty during Napoli's weekend match against Bologna, which resulted in a scoreless draw, is the cause for Napoli's video.

According to a recent report, even though the club has since erased the video, Osimhen was preparing to file a lawsuit against the Italian team.

Osimhen has removed photos of himself wearing Napoli jerseys from his Instagram page in response to the club's action.

Nigerian singer, Timaya and others responded to the incident by saying that the footballer's name should be given some respect because of all that he has done for the team.
