Seasoned Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs is celebrating his 82nd birthday today, July 11, just two weeks after unfounded rumours of his passing went viral on social media.

The veteran's wife, Joke Silva, celebrated the occasion on her Instagram by posting a video of the actor wearing a customized house coat while she prayed over him.

She captiooned the video, “82 just like that. Agba ko ni nira l’agbara Jesu.

“Happy birthday and have an amazing year ahead, my darling… Sir J of life _olujacobs (loving his customised housecoat).”

Recall that in June, rumours went around that the veteran actor had passed away. That was the second time rumours about the death of Olu Jacobs made the rounds on social media.

However, his wife, Joke Silva dispelled those rumours, stating that the actor was alive and in good shape. She urged social media users to refrain from sharing such news.

Fans, celebrities and other well wishers took to the comment section to congratulate Olu Jacobs as they wish him long life woth good health.
