The court judgment obtained against him by his former in-law and Nigerian artist, DBanj, has prompted a response from on-air personality Do2dtun.

D'banj has applied for an injunction to stop his estranged brother-in-law, Do2dtun, from posting hurtful and slanderous things about him on social media, in a federal court in Abuja.

The petition was submitted by the entertainer via Toheeb Lawal, one of his attorneys.

On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Judge Emmanuel Iyanna granted the injunction in the case involving Motion No. MN/218/2023.

In response to the court judgment, Dotun stated in a statement uploaded on his social media account that nobody would be here if they had followed the court's ruling on the custody of his children.

He restated his desire to visit his kids and expressed his lack of concern about a court order or getting pulled by and held by the police.

He wrote: “If you only you all obeyed order too. We won’t be here. Have kept quiet cos you asked for medication. I know, and I was so sure. You know very well what I was saying, and I wasn’t wrong, but yet again, the power game. I have still not seen my kids. For me, that’s the goal all these ones no concern me focus!

“Don’t worry, you and I know you don’t want me to speak cos you need that bread Abi. You want my life dark and uneven, but you want yours to be yellow. Over my dead body… just give me my kids and let me live my life in peace.
