'Nollywood is a danger zone' - Reactions as actor Amaechi Muonagor gets paralyzed, cries for help

Veteran Nollywood icon Amaechi Muonagor has caused a stir on social media after a video of him, with his hat in hand reaching out to the public to discuss his recent battle with a paralytic stroke.

The actor has asked for prayers and financial support to get him through this difficult time in his life.

The actor disclosed that his stroke condition has been getting worse since the unfortunate day it started. He is now paralyzed in half of his body and is unable to walk or move his legs on his own.

He expressed regret for not disclosing this information to the public sooner because he had no idea the illness would last for so long.

He is now contacting charitable Nigerians in an attempt to raise money for his paralysis, which has left him unable to eat and caused severe swelling in several areas of his body.

He added that they had run out of the drugs he needed for his therapy during his three months at the present facility.

Amaechi continued, saying that he is in dire need of support from his friends, family, and coworkers.

Since then, a lot of Nigerians have been shocked by the health problems that Nollywood stars are currently facing and have questioned whether there was more to it or if it was something they did wrong during their youthful days.
