'No song was bigger than Machala' - Carter Efe calls out Headies while crying

Up-and-coming singer and skit maker, Carter Efe, became emotional and shed tears while expressing his disappointment towards the Headies award after being snubbed in their nomination list, despite the success of his hit track, ‘Machala'.

Taking to his Instagram Live, the aspiring musician vented his frustration and shared his sentiments about what he perceived as an unfair act.

Recently, the prestigious music awards released their nominee list, featuring various artists. However, to Carter Efe’s dismay, his song ‘Machala‘, which had garnered attention but also faced copyright disputes between Carter Efe and his co-singer, Berri Tiga, did not make the cut.

In his Instagram Live video, Carter Efe directly addressed the Headies, challenging them to justify excluding his song from the nomination list. He passionately questioned which song had achieved more prominence than ‘Machala’ throughout the previous year.

In the circulating online video, Carter Efe can be seen expressing his sorrow in a heartfelt manner, while his friend attempts to console him during this difficult moment.
