Davido, Akon and Burna Boy

Senegalese-American musician Akon has sparked conversations on social media after he was asked to choose between Nigerian singers Davido and Burna Boy.

He was asked to choose between Davido and Burna Boy in a recent Drink Champs podcast interview with N.O.R.E and DJ EFN, and he chose Davido without hesitation.

Akon reaffirmed his admiration for Davido, calling him a "beast," and asserted that the singer deserves more recognition and acclaim than he has so far earned.

He said: “I would probably go with Davido. Oh David, that kid right there is a beast, he’s the beast, he’s another one I think that deserves more flowers than he’s received”
