Netizens slam Wizkid again for missing Banky W's wedding after Davido attended Isreals'

Some Nigerians on social media have criticized popular singer Wizkid describing him as proud.

This follows Davido's attendance at Isreal's wedding over the weekend.

Nigerians made this comparison between the two because Wizkid missed the wedding of his former boss, Banky W and Adesua in 2019.

They expected that if not for anything, the assistance Banky W provided Wizkid should have been enough reason for him to attend his wedding.

The actions of Wizkid later resulted in a Twitter banter between Wizkid and his ex-boss Banky W.

Banky W wrote: “Am not gonna pretend like your absence from the team would not be felt, you will be replaced by a better artiste” Never knew you were such an ingrate, I made you who you are today and that fact is something you can never deny. Wish you all the best."

Wizkid responded: “I can never be replaced, you mistook my loyalty for stupidity so don’t get mad that I’ve decided to move on with my life. Going live on Ustream in a bit #TeamWizkid lets get it!”

The posts were later deleted.

Davido missed the traditional wedding due to the birthday of his son, Ifeanyi.

The gesture Davido showed to his aide astonished Nigerians since they think he could have missed the wedding and arranged his son's birthday celebration than postponing it.

Social media users have reacted differently to this as some believe Wizkid is the opposite of Davido, who comes from a wealthy family, and that Davido is modest and understands human qualities.

However, some contend that the two shouldn't be compared because they are each distinct in their own ways and that Wizkid's absence at Banky W's wedding may have had a reason; therefore, Wizkid shouldn't be judged only on that basis.

Davido physically attended his logistics manager wedding (isreal DMW) with friends, wake me up if wizkid pride and arrogance can allow him do this, somebody that doesn't even attend his helper (banky W) wedding.
