Videos from Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley's first performance since 2023 have gone viral on social media.
The Marlian label boss recently attracted attention for showing up to a party wearing fancy attire that cost £2,703, equivalent to N6 million.
While performing at a club in Ikeja, Lagos, Naira Marley was spotted entertaining enthusiastic fans.
Posting the video, law_lee101 wrote in a caption, “NAIRA MARLEY BACK ON STAGE So so happy to see my president @nairamarley back on stage performing last night I was filled with joy in my heart watching him performing after so much hates in the past few months… so happy u have finally overcome all the challenges.”
Recall that Naira Marley came under heavy criticism after singer Mohbad's death since it was speculated that the singer could have had a hand in his former signee's death.
Following that incident, Naira Marley was arrested alongside his associate and best friend Sam Larry. Naira Marley also had his songs banned from streaming platforms among others.
The performance of Naira Marley at a show has since sparked mixed reactions among social media users.
