My wife respects, not scared of me – Seun Kuti

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has clarified his wife, Yetunde, isn’t the least scared of him as speculated by critics on social media.
He stated if anyone was scared of the other, it was him, noting the wife has the utmost respect for him.

Kuti’s explanation was necessitated after he was seen in a viral video instructing his wife to go back into the car during an altercation with an Inspector on Third Mainland Bridge where he allegedly assaulted the uniformed officer.

In the video, Yetunde got out and walked to him but he ordered her to get back into the car which she did immediately without hesitation.

This elicited varying reactions from the online community with some interpreting his action to mean that the singer beats his wife.
