Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu popularly known as Odumodublvck has disclosed that his main objective in the music industry is not fame.

The rapper said he never wanted to be famous during a recent appearance on the Hip TV show Trending.

Odumodublvck claims that his goal has always been to have an influence, stressing that wealth and popularity come second.

He said, “I have never tried to be famous. The way people say they want fame, like the way people say they are looking for money—people want fame. I have never wanted fame. I have never thought about it,” he said.

When I started my music career, I never thought of being famous. I only thought about doing nice stuff and impacting people with it.

Promoting myself equates to being famous, but that kind of fame is different from the TV’s ‘rich and famous.’ I have never bought into that context.”

Odumodublvck became well-known in 2022 with the release of his hit single Picanto, which featured Ecko Miles and Zlatan Ibile.
