Mohbad: Nigerians react as police reveals injections administered to singer caused his death

After the Lagos police announced in its most recent report that three injections given to Mohbad on Tuesday, September 12, caused his abrupt death, social media is currently ablaze with opposing viewpoints.

The Nigerian police have officially identified the cause of the late musician Mohbad's demise.

According to a news conference held by the Lagos State Police Commissioner on Friday, October 10, Mohbad received an injection on Tuesday, September 12, from an assistant nurse by the name of Feyisayo Ogedengbe.

The Commissioner asserts that on September 11, Mohbad's friend Ayobami Sadiq, also known as Spending, called the assistant nurse, who on September 12 gave Mohbad three injections that ultimately led to his death.

He said: "She is the principal suspect in the death of Mohbad. She acknowledged that it was the injection she administered on the deceased that triggered the reactions which eventually led to Mohbad's death. Other experts opinions and witnesses statements corroborated her admittance."

The commissioner also added that: "Her actions of administering doses of Tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, intravenous and cetrazone injection which was also administered intravenous on Mohbad at his residence on 12th September 2023, immediate triggered the reaction including vomitting, goose bumps and convulsion that eventually resulted in the singer's death''.
