Mohbad: 'My son advised me to never eat at Naira Marley's house' - Singer's mother spills

The mother of late singer Mohbad has explained why her son had told her not to eat at his former boss Naira Marley's house before he passed away.

She also disclosed significant charges of physical abuse her son allegedly endured while recording his EP, despite her attempts to protect him.

In an open interview, Mohbad's mother revealed that when she visited Naira Marley, her son expressed genuine worries for her safety and advised her not to take any of the wine or food that was given to her.

She maintained that Mohbad's main reason for visiting Naira Marley's house was not to eat because she usually followed morning fasting customs.

Mohbad's mother also admitted that she frequently turned down offers to stay in hotels and instead decided to stay wherever her son did.

She said: “Whenever I go to Naira’s house and I am given food, I won’t eat. Food is not why I went there, and I fast most times in the morning. My son would tell me not to eat it because he does not want me to die. He flushes the wine given to him too. He said he was signed for three years.”
