Actress Mercy Johnson has finally announced her intent to address the ongoing conflict with Angela Okorie publicly.

Mercy took to her Instagram Story, declaring, “O ti to ge. It’s time to say my piece. Everything I need to say, I will say it tomorrow. 12PM. Instagram”.

This statement follows a series of public exchanges that have stirred significant attention within the Nollywood community and among fans.

The tension stems from Angela Okorie’s recent Instagram Live session on June 3, 2025, where she claimed to have forgiven Mercy, a mother of four, after learning she was seriously ill.

Angela urged Mercy to seek forgiveness from those she allegedly wronged and criticised her for using religious language that, in Angela’s view, does not align with her actions.

The feud has also drawn in other Nollywood figures, notably Regina Daniels, who fiercely defended Mercy.

In an Instagram Live response, Regina dismissed Angela’s claims, calling her “mad” and stating that neither she nor Mercy are inclined to forgive Angela.
