Celebrity power couple, Simi and Adekunle's love for one another has been a topic of constant discussion on Nigerian social media. Even after six years of marriage, the couple's love for one another is still very much alive.
On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the gifted Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold celebrated his 38th birthday with his loved ones. His wife Simi had other ideas, but his big day was enjoyed in private.
Taking to social media to celebrate him, Simi wrote: "Baby, you started out GREAT. And you've gotten better with age. Over the past year, I've been very aware of how much I actually like you as a human being."
I mean I've always known it, but now I pay attention to it - because I realise it's not easy to consistently like someone you have to live with, be with, sleep with almost everyday. ("Almost" because anything money, you've entered aeroplane). Thank you for being so likable Oko mi."
The adorable message was followed by Adekunle Gold sharing his brand-new Phillip Plein wristwatch, which Simi had gotten him, on his official Snapchat account. Expressing his excitement and pride in marrying Simi, the singer urged that people marry well.
