'Man of faith' - Accolades as AY's 'Spotting the Difference show' premieres on Netflix

As the first African comic to have his show launch on Netflix, popular Nigerian comedian and actor Richard Ayodeji Makun, better known by his stage name AY, has once again put Nigerians on the map.

The stand-up comic achieves his goal of becoming the first African whose stand-up comedy is directed at a global audience by joining the roster of international comedians that includes Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Trevor Nouah, and others.

After over 15 years in comedy, AY recently shared a teaser of his new comedy series, AY: 'Spotting the Difference'.

On Friday, May 5, 2023, he released his debut comedy special on the popular global streaming service Netflix.

Numerous people, including celebrities and social media users, have praised the comic for his accomplishment and offered their congratulations while wishing him more success.
