Hyacinth Idibia, brother to Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has sparked major concern online after publicly pleading with the singer to allow his family to “save him” amid swirling reports of a marital crisis with his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.

His message comes shortly after explosive allegations made on Monday, December 1, by Kaka Igbokwe, 2Baba’s former manager, during a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze.

According to Igbokwe, the legendary artiste is trapped in a “toxic marriage” with Natasha, who currently serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. He alleged that Natasha has been physically abusive toward the singer and has interfered with his career and business activities.

Igbokwe further claimed that Natasha controls 2Baba’s finances and has failed to properly account for funds or pay members of the singer’s team.

Adding fuel to the growing speculation, Hyacinth returned to Instagram this morning with a cryptic Instastory post.

He shared an audio clip of an unreleased song 2Baba once recorded, where the lyrics describe an independent woman who was “chopping” all his money and leaving him with “zero balance.”
