Lege Miami declares full support for Tinubu ahead of 2027 elections

Popular Nigerian entertainer and social influencer Kehinde Adams, widely known as Lege Miami, has publicly reaffirmed his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Lege Miami made the declaration while delivering a keynote address at the APC Youth Wing West Africa Town Hall Meeting, held in Accra, Ghana, where he assured party faithful and Nigerians of his readiness to actively support the Tinubu-led administration in the coming elections.

Speaking with confidence, the entertainer said his decision was driven by what he described as visible progress recorded under the current administration.

During his address, Lege Miami outlined several policy interventions by the Federal Government which, according to him, demonstrate tangible progress across critical sectors of the economy.

He cited initiatives such as the student loan scheme, major infrastructure projects, transportation expansion across regions, ECOWAS trade routes, passport administration reforms, and ongoing efforts to improve electricity supply.

“We have the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Road, student loans, another major road linking Badagry to Kano, ECOWAS trade routes, and passport reforms. A lot of things have changed,” he said.

Speaking on power supply, the entertainer argued that electricity access has improved compared to previous years.

“Let’s talk about electricity. Can you honestly compare how we are using light now with before? No,” he added.

Lege Miami also urged Nigerians, particularly young people on social media, to engage in more responsible and informed political discussions. He challenged critics of the government to present clear, factual arguments rather than spreading vague or misleading narratives.

“If anyone posts a video against this government, go to their DM and ask them what is really happening. Ask them what exactly is bad about this government that they don’t like,” he said.

Discussions at the town hall centred on youth development, party registration, diaspora engagement, return-to-vote initiatives, and strategic planning ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speakers emphasised the importance of young Nigerians in the diaspora remaining actively involved in the country’s democratic process and national development.

The event attracted several prominent Nigerian personalities, including the Director-General of the APC Youth Wing West Africa, Hon. Gideon Olatunde Igbasan; Lagos State APC Youth Leader, Dr. Seriki Muritala Ishalla; Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende; and veteran actor and film director Ambassador Saidi Balogun, among others.
