After Nathaniel Bassey's Hallelujah Challenge ended, there was discussion regarding his YouTube channel's lack of revenue. In a video, a woman chastised him for this choice.

According to reports, the conversation began when someone on X brought up the fact that the gospel singer's Hallelujah Challenge YouTube page, which has millions of views and more than 2 million subscribers, is not profitable because he had not monetized it.

Despite having many supporters, Iziegbe Ogbeide said that his decision was not admirable. She maintained that the gospel singer could have used the money to help those in need and that making money is not morally wrong.

She said, “Nathaniel can monetize the channel to help people, it is not a thing to be celebrated."

The lady's comment elicited many reactions among social media users. While others concurred with him to monetize his page, others noted that Pastor Jerry Eze had been chastised for monetizing his YouTube page, and Nathaniel Bassey decided not to monetize his yet, he is being criticized.

Hallelujah Challenge is an hour-long online praise program unto the Lord. The sessions of praise are held daily during designated periods every year, as God leads the convener, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey.

Nathaniel Bassey started the Hallelujah Challenge in 2017, and this year marks the 7th anniversary
