The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is currently in the news after a video showing the governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, publicly embarrassing him appeared online.

The two were at a function when the Ooni got up to welcome the Governor in the widely shared video.

However, Governor Adeleke ignored the Ooni of Ife as he extended his hand to meet others.

Many people were ashamed for the monarch after seeing the footage. Some people supported Adeleke's actions by pointing out that the King shouldn't shake hands with everyone.
