Nigerian music sensation Kizz Daniel has shared the secret behind his ability to create great music.
In a post on his Instagram story, the singer explained that he doesn’t focus on making his songs sound overly polished or pretty just for appearances.
Instead, he emphasized that authenticity is key to his creative process.
“I don’t make music for aesthetics,” he wrote. “No be by ‘make e sound fine’. One rule: relatability.”
He went further to stress that even if a song is produced by a relatively unknown talent—like “Segun from Ikorodu”—as long as the message resonates with listeners, that’s what matters most.
