Popular American Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has returned to Nigeria for the second time, touching down in Lagos to a vibrant cultural reception.
A viral X video captured hundreds of excited Nigerians in colourful traditional attire dancing and cheering as the U.S. content creator arrived at the airport.
Cenat’s visit recalls his first trip in March 2024, which made headlines after he pledged $5 million toward building a school following a visit to a local community.
Updates in 2025 confirmed that fundraising efforts are ongoing, driven largely by proceeds from his record-breaking live streams.
His return highlights the growing digital connection between the U.S. and Africa, as Cenat’s 10 million-plus Twitch followers gain real-time exposure to Nigerian culture.
Similarly, fellow streamer IShowSpeed made headlines during his recent Africa tour, which included stops in countries such as Ghana and Nigeria
