Raheem Okoya, the son of renowned Nigerian industrialist and Eleganza boss Chief Rasaq Okoya, has made a bold declaration about his financial independence, stating that his success is the result of his own hard work, not his father’s fortune.
Speaking in a recent interview on Wazobia Max Television, Raheem confidently asserted that every kobo in his account was earned through his personal hustle.
“Every penny in my account today is based on what I do. It’s my hard work and my sweat,” he said.
Raheem, who comes from one of Nigeria’s most prominent business families, emphasized that while he deeply respects and appreciates his father’s achievements, he prefers to build his own legacy rather than rely on the family empire.
The billionaire’s son also revealed that he’s made significant progress financially, though he admits he’s not yet where he wants to be.
“I’m not yet where I want to be. But I’m comfortable and proud of what I’ve achieved on my own,” he added.
Interestingly, Raheem’s statement comes months after a viral video showed a policeman carrying bundles of cash allegedly belonging to him.
Despite his privileged background, Raheem insists that his journey is fueled by personal effort and ambition rather than inheritance.
