Renowned Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie breaks down while revealing that her fibroids have returned despite being surgically removed two years ago.
Before undergoing a myomectomy in 2022—an evasive procedure to remove fibroids—the actress was informed of her problem in 2017, which has given her hope up to this point.
Ini Dima-Okojie encouraged other women to take their tests on time by sharing on Instagram how she started to notice the signals again.
In an attempt to find a long-term solution, Ini Dima-Okojie has decided to try a different method of shrinking the fibroid than a myomectomy.
She wrote: “My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am. My journey with fibroids isn’t over—I recently learned they’ve returned.
"To every woman dealing with fibroids, I want you to know I see you. It’s not an easy journey, but my hope is that we can change the narrative and find a real and permanent remedy for fibroids."
