'Including your uncle' - Netizens react to Davido’s opinion on tribunal judgement

Popular Nigerian musician David Adeleke better known as Davido has stirred up conversations on social media after he responded to the tribunal's ruling by outlining how elections are won in the country.

The cases against the ruling party and President Tinubu were dismissed during Wednesday, September 6, hearing on the presidential election challenge.

While there have been numerous responses to the news, Davido took to his X page to share his feelings.

The superstar claims that ruggedness is the key to winning elections in Nigeria and that the most rough person typically prevails.

He wrote: “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”

Davido responded that there had been tough men on his uncle's side when a netizen asked if his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, had also triumphed through grit.

The fan known on X as @chief_ochuko stated: “Na ruggedity ur uncle take win Abi?”

Davido replied: “Men mount.”
