Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur and socialite Cubana Chief Priest has renewed his push to rally support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his home state of Imo, telling supporters that their access to President Bola Tinubu through his son, Seyi Tinubu, was reason enough to work for the President's re-election.

The socialite, real name Pascal Okechukwu, was seen arriving at a registration event in Imo State and interacting with excited supporters who had turned out to register for the party.

Addressing the crowd, he said:
"We Igbos now have access to Mr. President Tinubu through his son, Seyi Tinubu. That's why we're doing everything to make sure he's re-elected. Thousands of Imolites are trooping in for registration for APC. Ndi Imo don't just love the City Boys Movement, they believe in it. Let's do politics with lifestyle. On Asiwaju's mandate, we shall stand. Imo is APC. Here, it's zero competition."

Cubana Chief Priest currently serves as Imo State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a youth-oriented support group backing President Tinubu's re-election bid.

He begun the movement's activities in Owerri, Imo State, leading a large turnout of Imo youths at an inauguration ceremony in February 2026, positioning the group as a vehicle for grassroots mobilisation and political sensitisation across the state.

His political profile has grown steadily since then, having visited Seyi Tinubu with his nomination and expression of interest form as part of consultations to secure political support for a 2027 House of Representatives bid, though he did not secure the APC ticket during the party's primaries in Imo State.

Despite the setback, he has reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and President Tinubu, describing his commitment to the President's 2027 re-election as absolute and unwavering.
