If you want to get wealthy men go to parties in Banana Island' - Toke Makinwa gives ladies tips

Actress and media personality Toke Makinwa has offered advice to women on how to approach wealthy men during this Christmas season.

The renowned media personality disclosed that the biggest and most powerful men are always found on Banana Island and in certain parts of Lagos during an interview on her podcast, Toke Moments.

Toke advised anyone hoping to catch a "Big Fish" during this festive season to think about going to house parties in upscale neighborhoods in Lagos, such as Lekki Phase 1, Ikoyi, VI, and Banana Island.

She did, however, clarify that clubs, which these days harbor a lot of pretend big boys, and any house parties other than those in Lekki Phase 1 are not allowed.

She said in her message to women that the only ways for them to get into highbrow places are if they have a budget and are well-connected.

She said: “You have to have the budget for enjoyment first because high-profile men don’t go to slums, some of them don’t like to go out. So you have to know people who know people. Go to house parties this Christmas ladies, forget the clubs it’s too hot and noisy. Go to house parties that’s where it’s going down. Places like Banana Island, and Ikoyi Southwest, you can manage VI, maybe like Lekki 1. Anything after Lekki 1 don’t bother”.
