Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has disclosed how he turned down offers worth ₦500 million and $200,000 from men who wanted to sleep with him.
Cross made the disclosure on X while coming to the defense of fellow reality TV star Whitemoney, who recently opened up about receiving an unwanted advance in his DMs.
According to WHitemoney, a man reportedly called him "papi" and expressed romantic interest in him.
Addressing the backlash Whitemoney faced over the incident, Cross argued that a man displaying feminine traits shouldn't automatically be assumed to be attracted to men, insisting that appearance, mannerisms or energy don't determine sexual orientation.
He further disclosed that he had personally received financial offers in the past but turned them down, crediting the values his mother instilled in him growing up.
"You all should leave White money alone. A man can have a feminine energy and be 100% straight. I have been offered 500 million naira, $200k to sleep with a man, and I refused. And many other offers also. U can't buy me with money or material things that's something my mum taught me from childhood. Whitemoney is right to post that man," he wrote.
"If I was to post my DMs, will you be mad at me also? Some men are so stupid. They send you rubbish on your DMs and think it's okay to send things to people. I understand some people play and go down like that, especially in our community and industry," he added.
He warned that he is not into men and advised any man interested in women to seek spiritual help.
But be cautious because it's not everyone that plays like that. And as a man, if you like your fellow man, you need deliverance, there is a spirit in you making you do such evil. And this goes to women also, not just men. We will pray for you because Jesus loves you too," he said.
