Real estate mogul King Ochacho has issued a fresh update on the construction of Peller's ₦400 million Abuja mansion, taking a swipe at critics, including content creator Carter Efe, who have mocked the TikToker over the still-unfinished property.

In a social media post, Ochacho showed ongoing work at the site, assuring Peller that he would keep him informed of progress.

"Peller, see your house. They are working on it. I will be updating you on a daily basis. I came to check on the work. Work is going on," he said, before hitting back at those who had questioned the gift. "Shame go catch all those idiot, jealous people, Efe and co. Who have been talking rubbish."

The remarks come a day after Ochacho and Peller toured the construction site together, and follow days of online back-and-forth after Carter Efe publicly mocked Peller over the mansion, describing it as a bamboo-filled shell far from completion.

In livestream clips shared across X, Instagram and Facebook on September 18, Carter Efe questioned how Peller could celebrate a house-opening ceremony for a structure still under construction, further predicting the building wouldn't be ready until 2030.

Ochacho had first announced the mansion gift during Peller and his wife Jarvis' traditional wedding ceremony on August 1, telling the couple: "On behalf of my children, I am presenting a brand new house for you worth ₦400 million in Abuja." He later described the gift as "small money" in a follow-up livestream, hinting that bigger gestures were still to come.
