I told Davido to start doing music - B-Red

Nigerian singer Adebayo Adeleke who is better known as B-Red has revealed that he was the first person to tell Davido to do music.

The singer and cousin to Afrobeats singer Davido revealed this during an interview on Echoo Room.

B-Red stated that while they were young and trying to make headsway in the music industry, he advised Davido to start doing music because he realized Davido was good when he used to back their cousin, MPeezy.

He added that they saw something captivating in Davido and urged him to officially start doing music of which he has now become a household name.

B-Red also lauded Mpeezy for paving the way for them and being instrumental in their music journey.

He said: "We all knew that David was gonna start first, that was the plan, and it's because he was too good. Na me tell am, na me tell am say omo David start singing first.

"One day David was always doing backing so I said omo MPeezy is good but you too you're good o start singing naw so he started singing. My cousin MPeezy showed us the way, shout out to him."
