Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has revealed that he gave up smoking four years ago.
The “Zanku” hitmaker disclosed during an interactive session with fans on Snapchat, where one follower asked if he still smoked.
Responding, Zlatan wrote:
“A day can’t pass without someone asking me this question. Yes, I quit smoking 4 years ago. And I have no issues with smokers.”
His revelation adds him to the growing list of Nigerian artistes who have either quit or are making efforts to stop smoking.
Others who have made similar decisions include Don Jazzy, Peruzzi, Tekno, and Kizz Daniel.
Back in 2018, Davido also hinted that he planned to quit smoking soon, citing Don Jazzy’s example as motivation.
Zlatan’s admission has since sparked conversations online, with many fans commending his discipline and commitment to maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
