'I no longer smoke or take alcohol' - Singer Solidstar

Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, better known by his stage name Solidstar has quit drinking and smoking.

The musician claimed to be well after appearing filthy and aimlessly strolling along the street in an unsettling video that his brother Joseph posted a few months back.

In an interview with The Nation, Solidstar revealed that he had stopped abusing drugs.

He said: “I am very well and healthy now. I have been out of the hospital for four months now, but I am still taking my medication. I no longer smoke or take alcohol.”

He emphasized that he got depressed because he was secretive and "started seeing people around me as enemies," adding that he has now learnt to interact with everyone.

Additionally, Solidstar revealed that throughout his suffering, he had the support of friends, family, coworkers, and fans.
